Theological Education

Theological education at our university centers on careful study of Scripture and practical preparation for Christian service. Our offerings in this area-Biblical Studies, Ministry Training, and Pastoral Leadership Development-serve both emerging leaders and seasoned ministers seeking renewed depth.

The Biblical Studies Program invites you into disciplined engagement with the Old and New Testaments, biblical languages as appropriate, and the historical and cultural backgrounds of Scripture. You will learn sound principles of interpretation and consider how faithful exegesis informs preaching, teaching, and discipleship within the local church.

Ministry Training provides structured development in core ministry skills: preaching and teaching, evangelism, discipleship, church administration, and pastoral care. Assignments often draw directly from your current ministry context, so you can apply what you are learning in real time. Students from a wide range of denominational backgrounds study together, united by shared trust in the authority of Scripture.

Our Pastoral Leadership Development track is designed for current and aspiring pastors. Courses address spiritual formation for leaders, shepherding congregations through change, ethical decision-making, and the practical responsibilities of church leadership, including board relations, budgeting, and staff oversight. Case studies, mentoring conversations, and guided reflection help you connect theological convictions with the day-to-day realities of ministry.

All three strands can be pursued through distance learning, with faculty available for academic advising, spiritual counseling, and project supervision. We also review previous ministry experience, prior coursework, and informal training to determine whether it can count toward certain requirements, allowing many students to progress more quickly. The result is a structured yet flexible path that leads to deeper understanding of God's Word and more effective service among God's people.
